回复: [转贴]移民加拿大历尽艰辛由收银员成为Full Time教师
One of my friends who lives in BC province is applying for the teaching program too. She was a 9-year-experienced teacher in China. She submitted her documents to the BC College of Teachers(jiao shi xie hui), and the BC College of Teachers requires her to supply her high school graduation diploma; the character reference forms of two referees who has known her for a minimun of two years in Canada; her former principal's assessment form; IELTS or TOEFL scores. Although she already got the provincial English 12 certificate last month, the BC college of Teachers insists that she should take the IELTS or TOEFL test , or it will not process her application. My friend is working hard for the IELTS now since she wants to realize her dream. It's obvious that the IELTS or TOEFL is the most important element of the application, but the other three documents that the BC college of Teachers requires are easy to get. That's why I doubt the story.
