看你做啥了.另外看你在哪里了.UNIVERSITY LIBRARIAN一般兼VICE PROVOST (10-20万以上,看学校了)..年薪就是比文科教授高几倍.图书馆很多人(高级职位者,有些有两个博士学位)比教授高(有些本人就是教授),你也没办法.耶鲁的馆长现在回牛津做学院院长了.

一个图书馆有几个馆长?有多少高级职位?

我写这个贴子是给愿意在这个领域发展的同学一个参考.不是和你比薪水,你如果要比薪水你找微软总裁比.图书馆有多少高级职位?比如耶鲁图书馆,至少几十个.微软前一个部门的全球经理(肯定职位比唐骏高)现在是哈佛大学图书馆一个分馆的馆长.我没记错的话,哈佛有七八十个分馆.美国的图书馆不是你想象的那样.你知道国会图书馆吧,国会图书馆馆员全是政府工作人员,薪水不比一般公务员低,几乎全在10万以上.联合国招聘的图书馆馆员,也是10完欧元.耶鲁刚突然去世的馆长原来就是耶鲁的PROVOST.他退下PROVOST职位后又做了UNIVERSITY LIBRARIAN.美国图书馆的地位可想而知.

看到多大要求：
The Bachelor’s degree must normally contain at least fifteen full academic credits, that is, courses that are not professional, practical, technical or vocational. The degree may be in any discipline or area of study.
国内图书馆学专业可以学MLS吗？

你可以去试试,有些学校是明确规定不能的.多大我不知道.多大英语要求很高.鸭试要8分才会录取.

想问楼主一个问题，我看COLLEGE里也有library 这个专业，不知道读出来会不会好找工作呢？毕业后学分可不可以转到大学？

这个就是做library assistant. 如果要做librarian,必须读MLIS.前提是你必须有个本科学位。这个学分没法转到MLIS

我申请MLIS已经获得系里的招生委员会批准，可在被推荐到研院以后，研院却说我的本科成绩不够他们的标准。我一直以为我的材料已经被系秘书看过，如果分数不够应该早就据了，既然现在招生委员会同意招收我，就说明系秘书算分的结果应该是够的。不明白为什么会出现这样的情况。LZ有这方面的经验么？谢谢了。

首先加拿大的图书馆学院只收研究生.本科一定要有专业.比如数学,科学等学位.多大的要求是很严格的.外国学生入学要求之一是雅试成绩在7.5以上.所以我个人认为你比较困难.但如果你本科成绩很优秀,英语成绩非常好还是可以试试.美国学校容易些.
Master of Information (MI) academic requirements

An appropriate Bachelor's degree from a recognized university is required:

• Overall average of at least mid-B (3.0 GPA) is required
• Degree may be in any discipline, or area of study
• Degree must normally contain a minimum of 15 full academic credits
• These credits cannot be from professional, practical, technical, or vocational courses
• Undergraduate courses such as studio art, drama, music performance, theology, education, or library science, are not normally considered to be academic, for admissions purposes

Successful iSchool applicants generally hold a B+ average (3.3 GPA) or higher, in the final year.

是非PROFESSIONAL的证书,就业应该可以,就是在图书馆做一般的STAFF.LIBRARIAN属于PROFESSIONAL JOB.

看到说明了吗?本科是图书馆专业以及戏剧音乐神学教育等的申请资格不够.你得有其他学位课程的学分或另一个本科学位.

Undergraduate是没有学士学位的,如果是GRADUATE,有学士学位的,是不是就可以呢?

undergraduate 就是本科的意思.就是本科读音乐戏剧教育和图书馆都不作为ACADEMIC的.GRADUATE是研究生的意思.
