父母团聚：诸如牛奶金,ABESAP什么的算不算政府资助

关于父母团聚移民，有一项规定，如果received government financial assistance，就不具备申请资格。我想问，这个政府资助里都包含哪些，诸如孩子的牛奶金，老婆上ESL的Funding Assist (ABESAP)都算是政府资助吗？谢谢

最好的办法是打电话去移民局问。

我觉得牛奶金不算，但是你老婆的那个算。因为你申请时是要你的家庭收入的，收入不高，符合要求才会得到资助，当然算政府经济资助。如果你还需要政府经济资助，你怎么会有钱担保你父母？不过自己打电话问过了，才是标准答案。

我觉得凡是那些你要填表，并且要报你的收入，少的才能拿的，都算政府经济资助。

不过我还是建议打电话给移民局问。

在Guide里，没有找到financial assistance，但是找到了Social assistance

Social assistance
Social assistance means any benefit, whether money, goods or services, provided to or on behalf of a person by a province under a program of social assistance. It includes assistance for food, shelter, clothing, fuel, utilities, household supplies, personal requirements and health care not provided by public health care.

Also when you calculate your "other income", "You cannot include provincial instruction and training allowances, social assistance, child tax benefits, guaranteed income supplement or employment insurance
payments."

有啥东西不算“personal requirements”么？

在我看来，只要是省、或者以上单位提供的，就得算。
