Dear Dad and Mom,
As I mentioned to you several times, I hope you can come here to visit me for the lovely Canadian autumn. I explained to you before, as a Permanent Resident of Canada, I should fulfill the obligation of residence. Moreover, I am working for xxxx as xxxx. According to the employment agreement, I must perform my duty within Canada or the US. Hence, I cannot spend a long vacation in other country including China. As the gas rate going up, it is an absolutely subeconomic deal that flying back to China for several days but paying two very expensive air tickets.
From mid September to early November, it will be a great period to visit Canada. During this period, you do not need to face the well-known Canadian snowstorm, but enjoy a fabulous maple leafs fall which you hardly feel via TV screen. You should come and see! I will take you to Niagara Falls to feel the power of Water God… In a word, I have planed a lot of trips for you to ensure you would have an amazing vacation in Canada. You will not feel lonely or boring during this 2-month period.
The most important thing is, we can get together on the traditional Chinese reunion day―Mid-Autumn Festival. Think about that, what a rememberable moment! In addition, your 3rd brother, Uncle xxxx, wants to meet you in Toronto since he and Auntie cannot travel oversea anymore due to their strengths. I know you two long for meeting each other in the past years.
If you worry about your darling Ralph and Miki, I think Mom's brother Uncle xxx (sb. stated on the family info form) can look after them. Of course I know Ralph is an odd old cat who hates pet sister and relies on Mom very much even refuse to be fed by others. But 2 months leaving is acceptable for Ralph.
As for the living expenses, I will pay for you. Although I am not rich, affording 2-month living expenses for my dearest parents is not a big deal. You can live with me in my 2-bedroom unit. You just need to buy 2 air tickets in China and fly to Toronto, I will pay the living expenses, travel expenses and medical insurance for you.
Dad and Mom, you know I was so sorry that you could not attend my graduation ceremony in xxxx x years ago because grandma passed away suddenly. Thus, I do want to spend more time with you and show you my life in Canada then you may live in China with reassurance. Hope to see you soon!
All the best!
Your daughter,
xxxx
