我的案例和楼主描述的非常相似，一下是我的全部沟通过程。各位发表一下意见。
我觉得移民官不会去看你的职业描述的。一旦看到你的noc不在38之列，就会退回你的档案。估计，等到他看到我们的申请估计也要拖上好长一段时间吧。
鉴于此，我认为，还是撤了当前的申请，然后，按照新的流程重新申请(附上解释)。只是不知是不是寄到北京还是寄到其他TX所说的悉尼中心？

I am an applicant of Skilled Worker Immigration. Below is my information.

I submitted my application in the early November and got the File Number (B054160105) on 18-11-2008. However, I found I have not clarified my career clearly in my application due to my inadequate research on how to fill the application form. To summarize, There are two issues. Firstly, I just filled only one position as a whole during my career in XXXX in the past 5.5 years even though I have been appointed to several positions including project manager. Secondly, I mapped the wrong NOC code with my career statement.
So, could you let me know how I can correct it effectively? Which one of the following options is prefer?
1) I update the application form with the correct NOC mapping. It still belongs to the same File Number.
2) I withdraw the current application and then reapply to get a new File Number.
It would be greatly grateful if you would suggest me next step.

If the NOC code entered on your application does not correspond to one of the 38 occupations in the Ministerial Instructions your application and processing fees will be returned to you. You may submit a new application but in this case you will have to provide an explanation as to why you are providing different employment experience from your previous application.

Regarding what you suggested that I may submit a new application, I have a little confusion.
1. I can submit a new application to beijing-immigration right now.
2. I must wait until my previous application has been processed.
Could you let me know which option is the right understanding?
