花了一个通宵终于看完所有的帖子,信息十分有用.但仍有疑惑跪求解.
1-这里申请college的似乎都已是移民.但我现在国内大四在读,准备今年6月毕业后从国内申请college可行吗?
2-我本科读的是法学,雅思5.5(准备再战),去了是否还需要参加他们的入学考试?申请时是应该申请研究生文凭课程还是那种两年的课程?
3-我去读书的目的是为了移民,读完college对移民有帮助吗?他的加分和大学的一样吗?
4-你们讨论的申请贷款是否只是针对移民而言?像我这样的情况能申请吗?

之所以选择college,是因为我的雅思成绩只考了5.5分,离研究生录取的7分要求太远了啊,且不准备考GRE.而且过去读法律不现实,要读研究生需要改读其他专业还很有限(只有社会学,公共关系什么的).所以,我自己认为与其这样,不如读个college之类的技术学院,毕业后好找工作.

我这样的想法正确吗?是不是国内应届生直接读college的很少?请指点

成人高中可以补补英文。上college是将来就业或者改行的一种途径。你来了之后就知道自己实际英文水平如何，将来希望从事什么职业。那时候再决定不迟。

Degree: U, M (U/C), OAC or advanced level, or equivalent;
Graduate Certificate: Programs require a degree/diploma for admission.
A minimum of one full year of study in an accredited university degree program or two full years of study in an accredited college diploma program in a country where English is considered a primary language.

The Humber English Language Proficiency (HELP) test with an overall minimum placement score at:
Certificate and Diploma: ESL 200;
Degree: ESL 300;
Graduate Certificate: ESL 300.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score at:
Certificate and Diploma: 550 for the paper based test or 213 for the computer-based test, or 80+ minimums of 20 for the Internet-based test;
Degree: 560 for the paper-based test or 220 for the computer-based test, or 84+ minimums of 21 for the Internet-based test;
Graduate Certificate: 580 for the paper-based test or 237 for the computer-based test, or 88+ minimums for the Internet-based test.

The Canadian Academic English Language Assessment test with a score at:

我个人的情况是，单身，到加拿大正好一年，两个学期共批了9650加币。
我的一位同学已经结婚，有一小孩，到加拿大一年多，两个学期共批了13650加币
另一位同学结婚，但没有小孩，到加拿大不到一年，两个学期只批了2650加币（没有安省的）
如果夫妻有一方有专业工作，或有车有房的话，基本上申请不到贷款。
另外如果是单身母亲的话，无论学生贷款还是在助学金上均有优待，每年可以获得几千或更多资助，而且不用偿还。但我不清楚具体情况。

GB的ESL，请参考。每个专业入学英文要求不太一样，可以直接问问学校。
