ESL[FONT=宋体]课以来,每个月都有一个法定节假日,

11[FONT=宋体]这个国内称为光棍节的日子在加拿大居然是法定节假日,
不过是另外一个名字[/FONT]
Remembrance Day―[FONT=宋体](休战)纪念日。随着日子的临近,越拉越多人佩戴着中间是黑芯暗红色红花的人出现在大街和公共汽车上,以年纪大人为多,司机对他们也特别友善,
给我的感觉的是红花会再现江湖。
直到[/FONT]
ESL[FONT=宋体]课上老师给大家发了阅读材料才知道,原来人们佩戴的是罂粟花。

In The Wind[FONT=宋体],似乎是越战时创作的,不过这次的歌曲既不象万圣节的歌曲那么轻松,也没有圣诞节歌曲的欢快,充满了凝重和悲怆。唱完歌曲,俄罗斯的同学似乎眼眶红红的,也许经历了战争的她们更能解歌曲的其中味。正如阅读资料中后来所说:永记战争的灾难,希望战争再也不要来临。远离战争、热爱和平是没有国界的,是热爱和平生活的全人类的共同心愿。[/FONT]
