大家还有一个误区
认为我只要在网上继续交msp费用，我的msp就是有效的了
这是大错特错
msp卡是不是有效只有三个条件：
1，pr或公民；
2，在bc省有家；
3，一个日历年内住满6个月。
跟交钱不交钱没关系，你要是不符合上述规定，你交的钱政府可以退给你，但是你看病用政府的钱也要退给政府

算算吧，其他不用说，在医院挂个号就是几百刀啊。。。。

请问所指的在加的居住时间必须满6个月，请问头三个月的等候期也算在这半年的时间里吗？

三个月的等候期也计算在内的。

没人回答，我查了一下msp website,这样说的：
When you stay outside B.C. longer than the period for which you are entitled to coverage, you will be required to fulfill a waiting period upon return to the province before coverage can be renewed.

其中指的period是6个月。也就是说如果这个人一年内保证在BC住够6个月，那回来的时候是不用重新等3个月的。

应该是这么理解，如果不对，请楼主指点。

不知是否可以确定呢?

ontario 的略不一样。是153天

You may be out of the province for up to 212 days in any 12-month period and still maintain your Ontario health insurance coverage provided that you continue to make Ontario your primary place of residence.

To be eligible for ongoing OHIP coverage you must be an eligible resident of Ontario. This means that you must:

be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or hold an OHIP-eligible immigration document; and
be physically present in Ontario for 153 days in any 12-month period; and
be physically present in Ontario for at least 153 days of the first 183 days immediately after establishing residency in the province; and
make your primary place of residence in Ontario.
