这种担心是多余的，真要地震的时候，难道天然气管道就很安全了？

从地势上看，有没有在管线下方的房屋，油会顺山坡流下。
这个比较恐怖。

地震之前要切断电源，多喷泡沫就应该能避免了。

You are receiving this notice as a neighbour of the Trans Mountain Jet Fuel Pipeline.

We are planning to do preventative maintenance on the pipeline in your neighbourhood on September 17 - 18, 2012 between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, Ellerslie Avenue, at Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC.*

During this work, the pipeline will be inspected for defects with an in-line inspection tool. Neighbours may notice construction equipment, increased activity and construction-related noise during the above stated period. Temporary parking restrictions and traffic control will be in effect.

Although we take steps to control odours for the comfort of our neighbours, some petroleum odours may be noticeable during the work. To report odours, call
(888) 876-6711.

We will work as quickly as possible to safely complete this work with as little disruption to our neighbours as possible. All work will be completed under Environmental Protection and Emergency Response Plans to ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and requirements.
