请问楼主，你父母在申请的时候填的是哪个visa office啊？为什么是转西雅图呢？

Feb. 2008 Sponsor Application
Nov. 2011 Sponsorship approved
Feb. 2012 ME.
July 2012 Submit Passport

Since parents are in Canada, called Ottawa and was informed to apply Buffalo Visa Office.
Today's passport was requested (Email) by Seattle Office. Maybe it is closer?! We are in Vancouver.

Yes. Called Ottawa as the email was sent by Ottawa back then.

Talked with a very kind Lady our situation and advised that once processed, they will transfer to Visa Office.

Hi 1347,

The email I received maybe similar to yours. Only Email and Fax were provided on the tile.

However, if you look further, a 1-800 call center phone # was somewhere in the letter.

You may have a try if you do need to talk to them. But be prepared to manage a long waiting before speaking to a real person.

也就是说大概在体检后5个月，我们这个月的体检要等到圣诞前后了吧？

GXGX, 我父母也是今年2月体检的, 希望也能尽快有好消息. 前两天email渥太华问什么时候可以交护照, 今天收到回复:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Due to the high volume of correspondence received, we are unable to provide status update. The officer responsible for your file will contact you if any action is required from you. Please note the standard service time for Family Class application is twelve months from the date you received notice from Case Processing Centre Mississauga. In the meantime, please ensure your contact information with us is up-to-date.
