那就怀孕到请产假（一护士朋友就休了1年的产假，不知道是否和工作年限有关），休完产假再去工作。

政府网上都写的清清楚楚，自己不会去查呀？别人的帖子里也早就讨论过了。自己懒得去找去研究，怪谁？不交EI又想拿EI福利的事情又不是我编出来的，脸皮这么厚还介意别人说？EI都不交的人会交税？鬼才相信呢，少给自己脸上贴金了。

只要符合申请parental or maternity leave benefits的要求（需要一定的insurable hours， 可以在预产期前提前申请，提前多长时间不记得了），申请就可以了，不是一定要被layoff或者离开单位才能申请 mat leave EI。即便享受了最长52周的产假福利，也不要求一定要回原单位工作或者开始工作。
产假的EI和失业领取EI要求不同吧。

不能辞职，不是符合申请产假福利要求中的一款。如果不想自己在看Service canada的网站信息，可以去打电话问或者Service Canada 前台问，直接就有答案。

如果大家因为交了消费税就要享受福利，加拿大政府早就破产了。去看看国内来旅游的人，那个不是大包小包买几万元的奢侈品纪念品回去？按照交消费税的金额来说，他们的贡献可大了。是不是也该给他们发点EI呀，牛奶金呀，医保什么的？
