的也会有麻烦。

  • You, your current or former spouse or common-law partner, or any of your children lived in it at some time during the year.
  • You designate the property as your principal residence.
The land on which your home is located can be part of your principal residence. Usually, the amount of land that you can consider as part of your principal residence is limited to 1/2 hectare (5,000 square meters), which converts to about1.24 acres (54,000 square feet).

However, if you can show that you need more land to use and enjoy your home, you can consider more than this amount as part of your principal residence. For example, this may happen if the minimum lot size imposed by a municipality at the time you bought the property is larger than 1/2 hectare.

你复制没用,要精读和理解,假设你有多余一个property,到底用哪个做你的principal residence.

如果你incorporate了,还是找专业的好吧。自己做的话Profile有单次的license,貌似是$199,但是那个需要有一定专业知识才好用。Incorporate要给你公司file T2,然后再给自己file T1。T2的部分建议找会计公司做,T1可以自己做,Turbo Tax就行。

另外TurboTax上有免费使用的报税,只要不file文件,就不收费,正在上面试试呢。直接用这个行吗?

嗯,可以试试,就是不能efile而已。你是有个corporation吧?然后你是这个corporation的shareholder和employee。这种情况的话你要先报T2,然后如果你是从自己公司那dividends就要以公司名义file T5,然后file个人的T1。如果你是自己给自己发工资(有扣CPP,EI和tax withhold),那么就是先file T2,再T4,再file个人的T1。
T4a是说如果你是以个人名义做contractor,有些公司会给你提供T4a,那个不需要contractor本身准备,contractor的雇主会准备(但是不是所有雇主都会)。

我是自己在阿省注册了一个联邦的数字公司,就是为干合同工,就我自己一个名字在所有公司注册中。考虑到失业了就回国,所以就没买EI。

你所说的以个人名义做contractor是什么意思?就是作为中介的雇员?有啥区别?谢谢

T2 - T5 - T1 这个顺序
 
如果你incorporate了,还是找专业的好吧。自己做的话Profile有单次的license,貌似是$199,但是那个需要有一定专业知识才好用。Incorporate要给你公司file T2,然后再给自己file T1。T2的部分建议找会计公司做,T1可以自己做,Turbo Tax就行。

那个东西叫amortization,但是rental assets里,你可以选择claim或是不claim amortization cost。像移民1. 收入少 2.以租养房的,一般是建议不claim的。
如果你claim的话,卖房的时候用ACB-NBV就是capital gain。但是你不claim,卖房子的时候可以从自己的所有房产中评估你要卖的是不是涨的最多的,如果是,就claim principal residence,这样就免税了。所以你永远交最少的税。
报税没有NBV的说法,只有UCC。NBV是Accounting term,不是Taxation的

感觉你是读过business之类的专业。要是你读过taxation 1的话,有道考试题就是一个人有两/三套房产,给你近几年升值的信息,让你算最佳的报税计划。
我还是那句话,理论vs实践啦。
同意,我上课时教授都说可以自己选择哪个是自住房。我期中考就考这个最佳报税计划,哈哈

如果配偶无工作,配偶免税额今年最多可以转移多少到自己的名下?今年用网上免费(simple和studio)软件报税,无论输入多少都没法转移,不知为啥?请高人指点,谢谢!

补充:simple 软件无论输多少可转移部分都是0.
studio软件,没找到输入转移额的地方。

请教老乡,我是Incorporated,注册的联邦公司,地址是阿省。外甥是萨省大学生,他没有学生贷款,给他的报税中,填t2125表,让他分担比如11100(联邦免税$11,138 in 2014)算他自雇收入。
问题:
1,用的Studio TAX 2014,给他填,输入我的公司地址时候,老报错。他在萨省,我公司注册在阿省,可以吗?选择什么Industry code 要紧吗?
2,另外,他的T2202A,只有1300加元,时间也是parttime 4 month,估计就是选了一门课,Schedule 6合格吗?应该不超过13个星期吧?

第一个,你可以直接给他写成other income里吧?没必须写自雇。非要自雇的话,地址应该写他自己地址,code和你当年自雇的时候用一个。我觉得在你外甥的报税里写other income简单明了,同时你的公司里就写是custom work expenses就行了,这样CRA问起来,你说他帮你做什么了都可以,只要make sense。
第二个,不好意思,我从来没遇见过谁用schedule 6,所以不是很熟。加之最近几年不在会计师事务所工作,比较生疏。

你是引用的条款1,要求住在边境附近(红色部分),我是引用的条款2,没有这个限制。 只需要,至少连续3周,有学历。大学显然符合这个要求嘛。

  1. a university, college, or other educational institution in the United States for courses at a post-secondary school level if you lived in Canada near the border throughout the year and you commuted to the school;
  2. a university outside Canada, if you were in full-time attendance, for courses that were at least three consecutive weeks long and that will lead to a degree at the bachelor level or higher.

在美国上大学的,的确是能报税的,应用条款2。

不知道每年交的职业证书是否可以报税阿,比如信息安全的证书,每年需要交纳不少的维护费(会费)之内的。
