As a Procurement Specialist your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- A degree-level education (or equivalent) in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
- Membership in the "l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec" (or eligibility)
- French language skills to business standard
- Global work experience
- A track record of delivering results
- Gaining the engagement and support of key stakeholders
- Making sure commercial issues are resolved effectively and efficiently
- Raising and managing all purchase documents within purchasing systems
- Managing the work queue, including the sourcing of parts and services
