QuesTrade 也有这个类似情况，他们提供了一个dividend和基金收益的文件，外加和这个TD一样的trading summary。看起来这个capital gain是要我们自己算的。

Dividends 和基金收益 are investment income, you just input as it shows. Software will calculate tax automatically.
Trading summary should be you T5008 as capital gains. Gain or loss= (disposal value per unit- Book value per unit)* units disposal. This portion, 50% counted as your capital revenue.

原来以为broker会为我们算好的，原来还要自己算。
就是说只有一买一卖，或者一卖一买（如果是做空）的部分才算capital gain了？请问commission和贷款利息（我也做trade on margin）也是在算capital gain的时候除去，还是单列成抵扣项呢？

没人给你算，自己记住买入价，多少手。卖出价。或用投资公司statement.差价是减去commission是capital gain.
是挺麻烦的.

Wealthsimple 到底有多自動呢？
自動匯入後，box 20 和 box 21都有金額，是不是就不用手動計算capital gain了？軟件會用 box 21 自動剪去 box 20?

另，有一筆剪掉後是負數，虧著賣出去的。

不要用自动导入。自动导入不能手动选表格，很不方便。选非自动导入，然后手动输入各个单据上的数据。

一般来说，Tender offer 有几个选择：1. Default （Do Nothing): 股票被其它公司收购，给现金；2. 以股换股；3. 公司想收购股东的股票，然后给了股价。如果是第一种选择的话，你应该不用打电话给你的brokerage 公司的客服。第二，三种的选择，你需要打电话。具体要看Tender offer的说明。
我曾遇过几次类似Tender offer，但从来没收过说我有一只股票被Hold. 只是在打完电话后，客服会提醒我不要在这段时间卖这只股票。

再有，從來沒收到過T5008. 因為我用銀行平台炒股，可能自動計入了啥的吧？
