如果分到了基础英语的最高级，就可以直接去上academic courses了

如果我可以直接上academic courses，我是只需上academic courses中的英语课程就可以了？还是必须得把academic courses中包括英语课程以外的其他课程（数学、物理等等）都得修完呢？

如果不想拿中学毕业证，只要上英语课就可以了。

但是其他课程可以让你接触到很多语言课上学不到的词汇，对你未来学习有好处。

I am using a computer which does not support Chinese input. Sorry for that.

If your English marks in your high school are pretty good and the overall academic record is competitive, then you MAY be asked to write an English proficiency test at the college in early March (Round 1) or late April (Round 2). You will be contacted regarding the test date and the time either by telephone or in writing.

A positive test will allow the college to then evaluate you for admission. A negative test or lower English marks will result in a refusal for that Round.

Furthermore, some accepted students will take remedial English. If your English marks are strong and you are accepted, you will take only an English placement test along with the other accepted native students.
