关于查进度，client number 和file number的求解

我不是指的application Number，我指的查进度的号码。application number 无法查进度，只是说他们已经收到了你所谓的5000个名额以内，
我指的查进度的号码是xxxx-xxxx。

哦！谢谢，我一直以为要使用application number 查进度呢！那就等着下封信再说了。

我也是一样，用8位的UCI (Unique Client ID)登录进去，看不到sponsor的信息。只有以前申请PR卡renew的信息。怎么回事??

事情是这样，今年1月申请了父母团聚移民。大概在6月的时候收到了cic 的邮件，告诉已被录入到5000名额里，然后给了个F开头的9位数字 也就是所谓的file number
现在问题是，我想查进展的时候，要求我输入client number。例如xxxx-xxxx的数字。但是我从没收到这个所谓的client number啊。

2014年递交的同学，各位有没有收到client number啊？如果没有收到，那怎么去获取所谓的client number啊？

我打了好几遍cic的电话，说法不一啊。一个说等，一个说是我的PR number。 一个说是我父母的护照number。

真是郁闷

Client number should be the sponsor's permanent resident card number, which should be on the letter CIC sent to you too. there are a few ways to check your case status, such as client number, file number, receipt number ect. but I wasn't very sure if you can check it by using primary applicant (one of your parents) passport number.
