我刚刚试了一下。有两种办法可以查。
1. 用UCI查.这个是你的Client ID (sponsor's)...这是8位数. 查时用你的姓和生日。用这个查会有两个记录，在同一行。两个都显示application received. UCI在我收到第二封信里有。或者你的visa/PR card都会有。
2. 用File number查.这个是你六月收到信上的FXXXXXXXXX. 查时用你担保的主申请人的姓和生日。用这个查只有一个记录，permanent residence status.
原因是第一个是作为sponsor的信息。两步都会有。第二个是用你父母的信息，对于他们来说他们只有PR, no sponsorship.

按照你的方法试过了。和你说的一样。谢谢分享

我一封邮件也没收到，打电话给CIC，他们告诉我application# 和UCI#. 现在可以查状态了。
自从一月申请后，到九月份什么消息都没有。只有打电话询问。

I gave CIC a call on Wed at around 4pm, waited for around 15 mins and someone took the phone. Actaully I also can't check my case status online either, however I wanted to change the address , so I gave my file number FXXXXXXXXX to them and they can see my file already link to my unique ID and seems they can see my case in their website. I think if you can't find your status online and you can just try to call them to give the file number, if they can see in their systems, i think ,that is fine. Only need to wait for a little bit time to let them put in the systems.
