Get a new one from 公安局
Do a certified copy here in Canada (same day service) maybe around 40-50 dollars.
Faster than do 公证件.

Some certified translators may accept scanned copy.. ( you need to ask).

This way is much faster.

I mean Ottawa office is very very slow in replying email. some one email Miss.. they got reply quickly. not heard anything like this from Ottawa. You can try to email cpc, and at the mean time take the actions.

还有一个原因让我困惑的是，第一次来email要的是我父母双方的无犯罪原件，我就把公证件原件都寄去了，这次来信只要我母亲的，没有提我父亲的，如果公证件不行的话，那他不是应该再要两人的无犯罪原件吗？没有理由我父亲的可以接受公证件，而我母亲就一定要原件啊

给call centre打电话一点用也没有，他们说转到签证处他们就不会打开file看了，他告诉我材料寄过去的话就只有等了。

我还是两手准备，让国内再去开一份寄过来好了，不知道我自己翻译可不可以？

I had my parents 身份证 translated by a certified translator.
I am in GTA, so I just googled and found some certified translator. A chines guy.

I asked that time about the police certificate, and he said they also do that.
