继房价问题后，中国人再次成靶子，关于中国人吃狗肉熊掌的讨论

最近本地媒体热烈报道了UBC中餐馆冰箱发现熊掌一事，导致因房价问题而成众矢之的的华人形象继续恶化。西人关于中国人吃狗肉熊掌的讨论又开始了。

Not a racist comment at all. True and completely on point. Chinese, Vietnamese, you name it... all contribute to the killing of endangered animals for supposed traditional benefits. Its fact not fiction. And the only way to stop it is to ADMIT it is a PROBLEM.

actually, monkeys were often eaten alive in Hong Kong not too long ago. much like selecting a lobster, a selection of tied up monkeys would be brought to your table and you'd have your pick.

than, the head was smashed at the table then and there. BAM! a monkey brain feast.

it was as popular as poutine is in Montreal. It was everywhere! Hongkongers sure do have a funny way of portraying how they are a 'different entity' compared to the Chinese. Especially as it was NOT common in Beijing, Shanghai or Taiwan, all big cities with comparatively many more residents.

this reminds me of that one chinese restaurant in tijuana,mexico where the chinese were serving dog. on their menu it said it was chicken but it was not chicken nor duck but dog.

这让我想起了一个在墨西哥城市tijuana的中国餐馆看到的事情，菜单说是卖的是鸡肉，但上来的肉不是鸡肉鸭肉，却是狗肉

Unfortunately, not that uncommon (especially in places with lots of stray dogs). I would be pretty shocked if there weren't a fair number of restaurants doing that here as well.

不幸的是，这种事情很普遍，特别是在那些有很多流浪狗的地方，我倒是会很惊讶如果那些中餐馆不做这样的事情

其实穆斯林和印度人也是这么想的，驴也是这么想的，水里的鱼也是这么想的。
要是熊，野生的，不吃也就罢了，为什么不能吃狗肉呢？

当然我也反对吃狗肉，因为狗比猪聪明。希特勒也是这么对犹太人的。哈哈
