凡是戴口罩的就没被感染。

说明戴口罩还是很有用的,还是坚持戴吧。
这个故事不是这样的,首先该女是特殊的超级传播者,而且店里27个人无一例外感染了,包括进来订了就离开的。戴不戴都一样。该女有摘下口罩说话2小时,所以空气中病毒浓度非常高,如果不摘可能会好一些。

关于新冠,新浪和其他国内网站都有制造很多fake news,然后在 wechat上大传播。
不过这个故事英文都有报道,但没有感染的是四名员工,他们有戴口罩。但这不等于说其他顾客没人用口罩。我觉得最主要是他们除了口罩外,员工是站在柜台里的,距离顾客坐在地方还是远一些的。而且可能有挡板。

这个是最具体的信息,四个人戴的是类似N95了,所以很正常。用普通口罩是保护不了自己的,但可以相对保护别人。

只有N95里边的那层特殊材料挡得住病毒,普通口罩就是戴着渔网防蚊子叮咬。保持距离的意识更重要。多漂亮的女孩子靠近我,我都往后退,再也不敢凑近乎了。

估计天下父母在这段时间,都纠结着"送"与"不送"问题,尤其家里有上小学的小孩。最最纠结的莫过于要是真的在学校染上了新冠,那可是一辈子做的最错的决定。估计去死的心都会有。

有人会说,你也太矫情了,小孩子不能总在温室里长大,不能总保护着,要出去闯一下云云。

当妈的也觉得很有道理,不能总护着,心里一横,顶着老公和老一辈的反对压力,将option选了"in class",还自豪的说,让他(她)们学会如何做好防护措施,如何保持social distancing,不就行了吗?要与病毒共存,打持久战。

于是,购入了一大堆防护物资,包括不同图案的三层防护口罩(务求让这两个小朋友每天都有不一样款式的口罩,权当增加他们戴口罩意欲吧。其实每天戴着口罩7个小时,大人都觉得难受,更不用说小朋友);

Costco买的大桶消毒液,消毒酒精,胶手套,bath & Body 买的各种味道的袖珍hand sanitizer,有草莓,黄瓜味等等,就连防护面罩也买了,以备不时之需。当妈的,用心良苦? 自觉准备充分,无懈可击,还在老公面前得瑟??

这两个星期,俺也开始恢复正常上班,由于职业关系,也要求口罩面罩戴上七个小时。办公室的防护胶板也装上了,地上和墙上的social distancing标识也在领导们的实地考察和研究中落实,其中按照上上级的指示改了无数遍,也没啥抱怨的,因为职工与孩子的安全是第一位!

生活再次忙碌起来,感觉重回正常轨道的日子就要到来了。

但,但却发现事实并非如此...

首先,每天戴着7小时以上的口罩,我的鼻翼和脸周已经起了红疹。因为政策规定,只能统一佩戴单位提供的PPE口罩,不能戴自己从外面买的棉罩。单位每周提供一袋口罩,里面10个。

虽然可更换,办公室也有空调,但还是感觉很闷热。想想家里那两个小朋友的小学没空调,闷在室内几个小时,还戴着三层的口罩,估计不到半小时,就惹不住扯下口罩了? 我是看到实况的,不要说小孩子,就是那些老外领导,讲着讲着,口罩就溜到脖子上或下巴下,有些直接就扯下了,那个大汗淋漓,惨不人道?大家都明白的,我们是不抗拒戴口罩的,因为知道重要性和必要性,但回到学校这个大集体,各种肤色和习俗共存的大家庭,你自以为充足的措施,在耳濡目染中,小朋友很快就抛之脑后了...

其次,政府所说的重金投入帮助学校安全开学,要增加老师,增够防护设备,要招聘护士帮助学校screen回校学生等等。事实上,防护设备和电脑设备等的硬件都可以看到成效,是真的准备充分,但人手投入,没看到有啥变化,新冠前给裁的职位(包括职工老师)没给补回来,caretaking人手一样,老外领导开了个玩笑,等到人手配备真正落实的时候,我估计早已退休了...

想想2000多人的学校,连个专业点的护士都没有,那如何扫描学生,如何断定学生是一般流感或新冠呢,如何保证其他教职工和孩子的安全?问号在脑海里翻了一倍...

最后,想想,要是连自己都没信心的东西,为什么还逼着孩子去做呢?网课先上上,看情况如何,再做打算吧。

于是,再做了一个重要决定:小朋友们改上网课,设备配额:每人一台新手提,新发光五彩鼠标,Refresh tear eye drop等等。

也没啥的,为人父母,凡事都要操心,可得操心一辈子了??

今年春假后就没有去过学校,如果到明年春假后再送去,就是一年没有学校生活了。
我家最近也在挣扎9月10号要不要把孩子送学校,很头疼,目前还没结论。
依照不同容忍度有如下选择
  1. 都注射了疫苗再上学
  2. 每天新发疫情降至1位数
  3. 明年春假后再上学
  4. 开学15天后再上学
勿从众,要从心(怂)。有命在,啥都有。

我孩子学校的校长给我们信了,内容如下:
  • Students will be connected to school in a specific class (to be finalized next week by our staff)
    • They will not “lose their spot” at the school
  • Curricular materials are being created at the district level for students in grades K-8, primarily in English
  • These materials will be provided to those families in the SBGTS program, likely in the form of work packages.
  • This program does not run synchronous with the in-class instruction students are getting from the classroom teacher. This is not the June hybrid model.
    • The materials will be grade-appropriate, but may not be exactly what the students in class at school are working on at the same time
  • The classroom teacher will touch base with students in order to see how they are doing but will not provide online instruction. This will be overseen by district teachers responsible for the cohort of students in the SBGTS
  • The classroom teacher will coordinate assessment for report card purposes, which will be generated at Hampton through the MyEd student information system
    • Students will still get report cards from their teachers
  • The timeline for implementing the resources is likely toward the start of October
    • The District needs to hire teachers for SBGTS, then the resources will need to be coordinated
    • Until then, classroom teachers will connect with families and students to get them started on their learning at home
  • At any time, students may return to in-class learning on a part-time or full-time basis with their classmates at the school
    • Parents will need to contact the their child’s teacher to coordinate the return

The program is developing as I write this, and any changes will be sent to the families of children who have indicated they wish to go this route on a temporary basis.
