反正对俺来说，battery代表的是一组东东奏足够鸟。包括你说的gun in battery，俺猜也和catridge, magazine一类的东东有关，都是夹着一组子弹的意思。

这个倒是强调了是 Simultaneously 而不是现在字典写的batter 定义是 repeatedly. 看来连发的意思 也明显， 就是 artillery battery. 同意你的解释

想到《权力的游戏》里面大弩射龙的情节，龙一旦飞到弩的后方，弩根本奏来不及掉头射龙。古代的炮十分沉重，要调整个方向狠难，基本上奏是一锤子买卖，只能在短时间内打击某一个位置，一旦敌淫移动鸟，打击的机会也奏失去鸟。所以，一般得是多门炮，在短时间内一起发射，过鸟这个村奏莫这个店鸟。想到二战的时候，即使科学技术已经发展到用飞机潜艇鸟，但火炮当时还是需要淫工计算和设置，然后万炮齐发。
