请问楼主，我现在休的是8周的compassionate leave, 雇主只批给我8周的family medical lease, 他们不给我续了我不回去工作他们就要要terminate 我，失去这份工作以后我可以继续凭借医生填的表去renew compassionate leave 吗？是不是继续compassionate EI然后在第七个月转成regular EI? 谢谢

• sixteen weeks from July 16, 2017 to November 4, 2017.

The medical certificate is signed on April 20, 2017; the 52-week period starts on the previous Sunday, April 16, 2017, and ends on April 14, 2018. This is your compassionate care window; however your benefit period may end prior to this date, depending on the start date of your claim. The duration of a claim is usually 52 weeks.

If your father dies before the end of the 52-week period, your benefit payments may be affected.

For example, if he dies on August 1, 2017, your benefits will be paid as follows:

• For April 16, 2017 to June 24, 2017, you will receive ten weeks of benefits.
• For July 16, 2017, to August 5, 2017, you will receive two weeks of benefits.

7. While on EI
You may be able to work while receiving EI regular benefits. When you work and receive benefits at the same time, you must report your work earnings and hours for each week you work, in the week in which the work occurred.

If you receive other payments while receiving EI, some types of earnings will be deducted from your EI benefits, while other types of income have no impact on your EI benefits.

Outside of Canada while on EI
You are not usually eligible to receive regular benefits while you are away from Canada. However, you may receive regular benefits if you show that you are available for work in Canada while abroad. 1，是有15周，你的是已paid(付款)5周了,而不是只批5周。

2.55%是笼统的说法，具体还要根据所在地失业率和工作小时，最小除数来计算。
你的案件计算如下：
不清楚你在哪个城市，但根据你所提供的数据，可以推算出你所在地区的失业率为7-8%，工作小时数700，最小除数为20周，13539/20*55%=$372.32。

1）目前我是implied status（extension work permit under LMIA），但是不知道什么时候能收到新的work permit。我的work permit已经过期了。预产期是5月17日，前两年都在同一家公司上班，工作时数也满足了。我现在想申请产假EI，这种情况是不是把我renew work permit的证明、LMIA的申请证明一并提交给service canada就可以申请呢？

2）产假EI的申请日期是什么时候呢？Service Canada说预产期前8周开始拿EI，但是没有说申请日期，但通常受理时间要28天左右？我目前还在上班，而且状态不错，所以我如果从3月17（预产期5月17，就是8周的时间）开始申请产假EI，可以吗？这样会不会losing my benefits? 还是说我3月17日开始申请，产假EI给15周，早申请早结束 晚申请晚结束？我这么问就是想知道，我什么时候申请EI不会损失我本可以拿到的利益呢。能不能麻烦dragon哥给我算一下时间？谢谢！

依我看来，加上了改变不了什么。如果你有时间的话，也可以加上去，看下结果如何。

一般情况下，如果是一份工的话，最好是工作26周，可以得到较大的值 满600小时，只是刚合格而已。
