回复: 拙作
转眼之间,两年时间已经过去了。labor工,我也打够了。
但是无法被layoff。即使在经济大危机时期,单位里一次走了30多个人。我依然被留下来。
why,i will tell you。
For the same job, for a Quebecois, the salary is relatively high, for someone from a french spoken region - former french colony, the salary is a little bit high, for Chinese, the salary is the lowest.
Discrimination is absolute.
So, they keep me.
But i am fed up with this job.
At the beginning, i took this job. It was because i could learn french in this job. everyone speaks french. but after working more than 2 years, i realized that i could no more improve my french to a satisfactory level. my french stagnated. no advance for a long time. i began to hate this language, too complex, perhaps never will i master this language. it is very stupid, for the noun, it has gender, there is no rule to decide the gender of a noun, you have to remember them one by one. for verbs, the conjugation is too complicated too. not like English, every verb changes form according to the infinitive, in french, every verb changes form according to the present tense. many of my friends spent 3 or 4 years to learn french, in the end, they can speak well neither french, nor English. it is a pity. the teachers wonder why Chinese students have so many difficulties to master French, and the Chinese students ask themselves why french is so difficult. but in my eyes, what makes french more difficult, is because here is Quebec, everybody speaks French differently from what people in France speak. French in Quebec is not a good language, compared with French in France.
Except French, with which I am fed up. The work, i cannot take no more, everyday i do exactly the same thing, day after day, month after month, i cannot understand why these Quebecois can repeat the same thing year after year. it is unbearable for me.
I need change, or I would die of the monotony.
