The Bachelor of International Economics (BIE) is a new and distinct four-year, full-time degree program starting in September 2013, offered by the
Vancouver School of Economics with supporting partner the
Sauder School of Business. The BIE aims to provide graduates with a deep understanding of the workings of the global economy, as well as a strong technical training that will allow them to go on to careers as professional or academic economists. BIE graduates may find work in the public sector, non-government organizations, or the private sector as economists.
