Thank you for your email enquiry of May 2, 2013, regarding your husband’s foreign driver’s licence.
[FONT="]An individual would need to obtain a Nova Scotia driver's licence within 90 days of becoming a resident. They are considered to be a resident if: (a) they are attending school or college here; or (b) they live here and their children attend school here; or (c) they are employed here for more than 30 days in any given year; or (d) they live here for more than 90 days in any given year. 也就是说,不管什么身份,只要一年中在加拿大住超过3个月的必须在三个月内获得当地驾照,少于3个月的不需要当地驾照,应该是跟visitor一样对待
