Safety-Kleen Canada is seeking a Jr. Oil Recycling Operator that will be responsible for tank farm and waste water treatment plant operations, and for completing associated paperwork. Candidate works as part of a team to operate the re-refining process.
Responsibilities
• Collects process samples for Laboratory analysis
• Transfer all re-refinery production material. Maintain and update transfers in reading sheet, informs control room of activities in progress
• Maintain and update process-reading sheets as required. Calculate process yields, splits and rates. Notifies Shift Supervisor of any variances from expected targetsRecords any process adjustments in process log book
• Records any process adjustments in process log book
• Waste Water Treatment Plant Field verification rounds and adjustments
• Writes work request for repairs of process equipment
• Other work assigned by Shift Supervisor/Operations Supervisor
Requirements:
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• High school diploma. Minimum education requirements required by law / regulatory agency.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: 3rd Class Stationary Engineer strongly preferred
• Aptitude for and experience with computer applications
• Strong mathematical aptitude
• Ability to multi-task and strength in attention to detail
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Preference will be given to candidates with heavy industrial experience
• Successful candidates will be required to obtain stationary engineering license
