23岁大学生谢策在成都科大寝室死亡半月才被发现

校方称谢策之死，校方应负的责任是没有及时发现，对此校方表示愧疚。原因一是谢策出事期间，两个室友在外实习，未住寝室;最先发现谢死在床上的李明因病在家休养，直到4月1日回到寝室。二是谢策被发现死亡前几天，学校曾例行检查，发现谢策所在寝室的房门紧锁，敲门又无人应声;其手机关机，发现其死亡时，校方正查找其是否已换号。谢的父母向校方索赔88万元，但校方只愿支付6万抚慰金。

从CIC的网站上，可以看出，移民部长提出的修正条款，可以用一句话概括：如果原来办理移民案是“顺序导向”，今后将改为“工作岗位导向”；如果原来是 “所有的都必须办理”，现在则改为“可能办理也可能不办理”。时间分界点就是：2008年2月27日
