POSITION: Web Application Developer

REPORTS TO: Manager, Web Services

REVISION DATE: March 2013

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Create dynamic, database-driven web sites using latest industry standards
* Create rich web based financial tools using industry standard technologies
* Modify and maintain pre-existing code
* Participate in the design and evaluation of new webtrends and frameworks
* Stay up-to-date with latest web trends and best practices
* Create Rich Internet applications and web based appsusing industry standard technologies.
* Contribute to technical discussions around new and existing projects.
* Contribute to the specification gathering process of a new project and be able to provide time estimations for the project schedule.
* Act as a Liaison between Marketing and IT on technical issues
* Self reliant and be able to meet project deadlines.

QUALIFICATION:

Mandatory Skills:
• Proficient in UI Design and prototyping of websites and web apps (SPA)
• Competent in object oriented methodologies, design patterns and UML
• Familiar with latest web trends, tools and frameworks
• Comfortable working on projects that involve multiple IT groups
• Versed in Content Management Systems (preferably Drupal)
• Understand Client server architecture and application design
• Experience using Eclipse and code repositories (SVN, CVS etc)
• Responsive design using HTML5/CSS3
• Comfortable with creating XML and XML schemas
• Experience working with RESTful web services
• Knowledge of localization and internationalizationtechniques
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude, highly motivated, organized and team player

Nice to have:
* Proficiency with Mac and Unix environments
* Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite
* Experience using Adobe Flex, Actionscript 3.0 and BlazeDs
* Experience using Eclipse and code repositories (SVN, CVS etc)
* Experience developing Mobile apps (iOS development orWeb based mobile apps)

Education/Training:
• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Experience:
* 5+ years of web development and web application development experience using Java and / or php
* 3+ years of experience with various types of CMS (preferably Drupal)
* 3+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. jQuery, knockout, backbone and similar frameworks)

a 最近在国内投了几份相关的简历，感觉简历写的还可以吧，因为找了native speaker帮着看了一下 改动的比较少，可是还是石沉大海了，估计上面的电话是0086开头的。诶 继续努力吧，谢谢楼主的信息，新移民真的是很需要前辈提供这方面的帮助的！
