我们问过上海某区的公证处，他们说不给公证身份证。我们给移民局的资料里面说明了这一点。后来也没事。

我们是去年12月登陆的，我的材料里就没有做身份证公证，但是我们将身份证复印并作了对应的英语翻译。

这些都可以在网上找模板，自已翻译就可以了，我之前申请我公婆的这些都是自已翻译的，没什么问题。

其实户口本的公证上已经包括了身份证的所有信息，所以身份证的翻译完全可以从户口本的公证书上找到，这样还可以和户口本一致。
