规定, Under the Residential Tenancy Act and B.C.’s Human Rights Code, landlords cannot refuse to rent to someone because of their
source of income (if they are on welfare or unemployment insurance), gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, race,
colour, marital or family status. They cannot refuse to rent to people who have mental or physical disabilities, pregnant
women or families with children.
