公司当然是要求环境局撤销沥青厂的污染排放许可证，不撤销的话，要保证污染对租户和来访者的健康没有损害，希望他们安放监测器，24/7监测，提供数据，消除大家的担心。

环境局大概在2009下半年到2010年上半年之间把监测器拿走，虽然我们这几年提了多次，他们也一直不肯再把监测器放回来。

家园网的狼婆婆说参议员能帮我解决问题，我联系了多伦多的两位，没人理我。后来看到渥太华的一位卖热狗的说要去申请当参议员，因为现在改革了，公民可以参选，他卖热狗接触很多人，了解民情。我看了看，真的是公民可以参选，我劝另外一个小城市的反对沥青厂的民众参选，人家的问题解决了，没有意愿参选，只想过安静的生活。我又动员我的邻居参选，他回说： are you kidding? 没办法，我自己申请，没当上。

说实话，我就为了解决这个问题去申请的，没当上也就算了吧。希望哪位华人有兴趣去当参议员，我能托他/她的福，把问题反映反映。

为什么建一条路都要经过公众表决和Environmental Assessment，沥青厂什么都不要？

今天联系环保局的结果是：沥青厂没有 Environmental Assessment， 他们也找不到沥青厂的business license。

这个business license纠缠了好几年了，一直没有谁知道，唯一明确的是市政府没有给这家公司发过任何的 business license，而环保局必须要有这个 business license 的复印件，这个是他们申请污染排放许可证的一个必须提交的证件。我上周问了环保局，让我缴费，然后由环保局的资料部门查找，我立马交了费，今天电话说要我去市政府找，我说市政府问过了，没有发过business license 给这家公司。看来他们没找到。

一团乱麻，居然也能混了这么些年，在某些人的庇护下赚钱。

不喜欢看这个帖的网友请不要看，说实话，我也很烦，不知道为什么这么简单明白的事情能够拖这么久？在我看来，应该撤销污染排放许可证，开始征地建路。到底为什么这么多年这件事没有进展呢？

见附件，当时是批给另外一个公司的名字，公司地址也不在这里，现在这个公司是2005年成立的，我在环保局看见的只是一封信，简单地通知了环保局公司改名改地址了。

实际上公司的老板办公室一直不在这里，我也不知道在哪里，我都是在他们有人来这里时把文件交给他们的人， 请他们带给他们的老板。很巧，几次我们交材料时都是雨天，这里没人，这里是室外作业，大雨不能工作，总是第二天才看见来人。

还有安省有一个 Toxic Reduction Program，沥青厂应该在里面的，可是这个沥青厂不在，我问了一圈也没人回答它为什么漏网。

City Building 的人不能自己说 the asphalt plant is deemed to be a manufacturing use, 这个有法定的程序要走，所以这个是滥用职权，是腐败。
