买房的律师费不能用作扣减投资收益。我买房后报税本来这样做了,但后来税局查税,说不行,税局的原话是:
If you incur legal fees to buy your rental property, you cannot deduct them from your gross rental
income. Instead, allocate the fees between land and building and add them to their respective cost.
我想也对,无论买的房是投资还是自住,买房时你都要付律师费,所以不能一股脑儿算作投资成本。
税局后面那句话我不明白,不知怎么做。现在重看这句话,不知卖房后的报税有什么相关的项目,还想请教以上几位:
