每天都会看见一些西人工作的时候聊天,很多都是政府职能部门,比如修理草坪工人,环卫人员,地铁修理工等人,一聊天或者抽烟休息就是1-2个小时,还有很多我们看不到的政府工作人员那些人,从他们的办事流程足以看到他们工作的拖沓,同样是入籍申请,为什么人多过蒙城的多伦多只要半年,而蒙特利尔却要1年多甚至一年半呢?
是什么让他们如此放心大胆得工作时间聊天偷懒?

其实混入这个阶层是很容易的,那是对于腐败阶层的头头们的亲属们,朋友们。

你是技术移民(名义上的),问题是你有技术吗?至少你没有那个腐败阶层的技术。
这种现象本身就说明这是一个及不平等的国家。
语言好坏不能说明什么,全世界都一样,一个国家的人说的一种语言却不可能干着同样的工作和有同样的收入。

CS Recruitment and Development Program University:

Recent university graduates in Informatics who join Statistics Canada have the prospect of a challenging and rewarding career. As a new recruit, you will participate in a two-year development program during which you can expect several (usually three) diverse project assignments. Following the completion of the Recruitment and Development Program, you will be eligible for a promotion at the CS-02 level.

CS-01 System Development and Infrastructure Collegial:

Individuals hired at the CS-01 Collegial level will be placed directly into one of Statistics Canada’s many diverse divisions.

Statistics Canada offers a wide range of IT opportunities in the software development and maintenance domain and in the infrastructure services domain. The majority of opportunities in infrastructure services domain are in the Informatics Technology Services Division within the Informatics Branch. In the software development domain the opportunities are primarily in the Systems Development Division in the Informatics Branch however there are also software development, maintenance and operations opportunities in program areas across the Agency.

The System Development Division is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of software applications in support of statistical and administrative programs of Statistics Canada and provides advice for a range of informatics-related services.

The set of services comprises the provision of:
Application Development Services of quality business applications to Statistics Canada programs working in partnership with the clients. This task requires obtaining detailed requirements from clients, designing and building an application that meets the requirements within a suitable technological framework, testing the application and training users.
Application Maintenance and Support Services of existing business applications in support of Statistics Canada programs. 此帖讨论的不是如何找政府工,而是那些公务员懒惰浪费时间获得高福利薪水,这对得起老百姓的纳税吗?这算不算政府变相浪费国家的钱,如果大家再把政府每年的开支研究一下,就不难发现加拿大政府以及地方机构花钱如流水(相比而言),这跟贪污受贿异曲同工吗?

孰不知:有些政府要职中国人是禁止入内的,尽管你已经是加拿大公民,政府照样会追溯你之前身份的。当然不仅仅是中国人,有曾经质疑过,政府解释,美国政府也是这样的。。。

我倒是没觉得加拿大政府部门办事拖沓, 反倒是他们的办事态度比国内的那帮大爷好太多了, 上星期去办护照, 人家全程微笑服务, 有什么问题都尽量解答, 然后告诉我们护照两个星期左右就可以办好.

在中国大家都不守规矩, 所以认识人的话办事就特别快, 在这里相对公平一点, 所以在国内有些关系的人就不太习惯了. 其实对大多数而言, 我觉得加拿大的办事效率比中国高很多.

我觉得新人们可以提出这样的疑问,神话怎么也会问类似的业余问题:wdb4:(没有任何价值判断的意思)

我觉得是一种变相的腐败和贪污,而且这种做法没有任何风险。只不过对纳税人的钱――中国官员是暗偷,加拿大是明抢――法律规定了,您年薪10万加元,没人去质疑,质疑也没有用。

换个角度想这个问题我觉得很容易理解:

在中国民工进城也不是三年五年了,谁听说过哪个民工混进了政府部门去工作?

不能说魁北克公务员都是坏的。但我这一个多月一直在办一个和政府打交道的事,他们拖沓,不负责任,的情况可以切身感受。大家都是HUMAN BEING,有些东西只有你在和它们谈话,或从每一封往来信件的口气中才能感觉到那种傲慢和刁难。连律师都不耐烦地说THEY ALWAYS MAKE MISTAKES

不光政府部门,这边的工作节奏普遍比国内慢---享受生活吗!
作为新工作的新移民,多多少少会不适应,我力图做到:
1. 和别人合作的时候,干得不能太快。否则容易被老员工认为有威胁,还会破坏这里多年形成的轻松氛围。
2. 不过自己私下里,不能松懈。多看书,多学习。有些任务很快就做完了,可以多复查几遍。或者用别的方法再实现一下。这样既拖延了时间,也没有浪费自己的青春。

想换好工作的就利用多余的时间给自己充电,满足现状的就享受生活!
