with the gas dropping today, the market may collapse again.
I didn't quite understand the news from Stanley morgan, can someone understand something between the lines? Stanley Morgan is going to call on gas?

观雨兄，其实股票的时间值不止跟IV有关，还跟股票本身有关，比如说如果这是一个大家都期待涨的股票，那么它的call的premium就会比较高，供需关系决定的, 如果股票的波动比较大，那他的premium也会很大

IV只能决定这支股票1个月前跟一个月后的时间值的不同，在股票之间的比较就没有多大用处了

比如说我今天卖掉的tsla的210的call， jan 16到期，卖得时候价格是8.2，就是说tsla在118.2之下我都是有收益的，在210之下全收，这样股票不需要动作太大我就可以收到钱，如果继续以前的趋势，小跌小落最好，大跌也好，不动也好，小涨也好，只要不大涨就好，这就是大概率事件。如果你期待股票大跳大涨，就不如买call put了

Netflix a top pick for 2015 at Morgan Stanley

Morgan Stanley views Netflix's valuation as compelling and expects shares to move higher given reset expectations, increased original programming, and benefits from set-top integration. The firm has a Overweight rating with a $425 price target, down from $470, and is a top pick for 2015.

我没有那么乐观，但是至少我家就有Netflix，也没有什么情况让我们放弃subscribe Netflix， 所以这次的financial report应该会对netflix有很大帮助

看了3遍，还是没太明白。 要不这样，我什么都不顾忌，用3分钟研究时间，也做一个操作。用的是我最常用的思路， 看看实际情况。
1）IBM 卖出 2015/2/20 PUT @150, 价格 $2.40. 准备每个月roll 一次，一直到4月，和你一起到期。
2）IBM 卖出2015/2/20 CALL@170, 价格$0.96, 准备每个月roll一次，直到2017年1月，或者到你close 的那天结束。

一个半月时间。最理想情况下的盈利7%。

现在账面情况short IBM 7/17/2015 put@170 价格$14.35
如果现在take profit，收益率：(18-14.35)/28.5=12.8%

当然现在还不忙收钱，IV还在最大值附近，股价还没到170，时间没接近30天，最“肥“的IV、Gamma、Theta三块肉还没吃到。

最后的价格只要1刀， Questrade可以买butterfly买？这种butterfly策略是要自己分开买做3次交易，还是可以一起一次交易？

1) 可以自己分开做3次交易完成，也可以让交易所同时做两个手动操作，同时一买一卖。

2) MARGIN 计算大头就是中间那2个WRITE PUT的占用，再加上另外2个CALL的资金占用，不过很小，可以忽略。

3) 按照你的性格和交易习惯，你不会去做BUTTERFLY的。
