DayPasses,
Monthly FareCards,
FareSaver tickets,
West Coast Express weekly and 28-day passes,
U-Passes, Employer Passes and Government Bus Passes都不需要加钱。
注意,这三个站点,就是
从机场出发的Canada Line的前三个站点。
而从其它地方出发到机场根本不用加钱。
以下为Translink网站相关内容。
Canada Line YVR AddFare
The $5 Canada Line YVR AddFare is applicable to travel departing from any of the stations on Sea Island (YVR-Airport, Sea Island Centre and Templeton) destined for Bridgeport Station or points beyond. The Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) at the three Sea Island Stations are programmed to charge the additional YVR AddFare automatically on applicable transactions.
(Please note that DayPasses are not available at Sea Island Station TVMs.)
Canada Line customers who buy their fare zone ticket from a TVM using cash, debit or credit card must pay the $5 YVR AddFare. This includes Concession (seniors and student) fares. Children under the age of five can ride transit for free and are not subject to the YVR AddFare.
Exemptions
Customers who use prepaid fares such as
DayPasses,
Monthly FareCards,
FareSaver tickets,
West Coast Express weekly and 28-day passes,
U-Passes, Employer Passes and Government Bus Passes are exempt from the Canada Line YVR AddFare. If you are at the airport, DayPasses can be purchased at the 7-Eleven or the Pharmasave on Level 1, Arrivals. DayPasses and FareSavers don't have specific dates for travel, so they can be purchased in bulk for future travel dates.
Upcoming Changes to YVR AddFare
On Feb. 19, 2014, the Regional Transportation Commissioner approved TransLink's request to apply the YVR AddFare to the Compass Card on some fares. The change will apply to fares purchased with Compass Card Stored Value for travel to Bridgeport Station and beyond and to DayPasses sold on Sea Island in Richmond. The YVR AddFare rate remains at $5. The change will be programmed into the new Compass equipment and will take effect as customers transition to Compass later in 2014.
Monthly Pass holders and other product passes will continue to enjoy the AddFare exemption they have today, as will Sea Island employees and Burkeville residents. Like today, all customers travelling within Sea Island, including those who pay cash, will not pay an additional fare.
