8月要求补料的同学，有人收到已经收到确认信了

意思就是说6个月后才会收到确认信吗？不会吧，上一批补料后很快担保就下来了啊，真是无语了

Yes, I called yesterday. The agent said that it would take 6 months to get response from CIC.
I was mad to ask her why the staff said 10 weeks. She said that this was the information which she gave to you. That's it.

我九月份的时候也打过一个电话，那个Agent当时也是说10周左右会收到确认信，怎么一下子就变成六个月，没搞错吧，太可气了。之前新闻不是说明年父母团聚配额是两万个吗，按这个速度这两万个名额分给谁了呢。

我真的觉得咱们华人选民都不要去投票选保守党了。

因为现在的移民部不但卡我们的父母移民申请，还直接把以中国人为主要申请者的投资移民叫停了。

他们还大幅度提高移民或入籍的英语水平要求，变相使中国人与印度人或菲律宾人在竞争中处于劣势。

估计那6个月是指sponsorship decision made, acknowlegement of receiving additional documents should not take that long. Ok, this is just my wish.

I called CIC call centre about three weeks ago and was told that they would send the Acknowledge of receiving additional documentation letter in 10 weeks after the date they received. I will try to call CIC next week and post whatever has been told here. Just can't believe they make the change whatever they want.
