卡加利确实适合工薪阶层，生活压力小的多。象我女儿，大学毕业没多久，我赞助了一半Down payment, 自己一个人就供得起Single House了

冬天想去看女儿很不方便，开车不安全

其实对多数新一代年轻人来说，哪里有合适的工作，哪里有朋友，就会选择在哪里定居，毕竟人生才刚刚起步，好气候，城市等等，如果没有合适的工作，看不到前途，都是水月镜花。

再说了，卡尔加里下雪就下雪，很少冻雨，比起安省魁省和低陆平原来说不见得有多难开车。

卡尔加里有三个排名前20的医院，维多利亚有两个，都不错了。整个温哥华岛才70万人，只有卡尔加里的一半人口。其实很想念卡尔加里，除了天气不是很好，其他都是令人欣喜与难忘的。

但是就天气这一项死穴就让你望而却步，足见杀伤力多强，把所有让人欣喜难忘的一抹而去。

这个医院排名主要是根据专家推荐，病人调查及关键绩效指标得来的，出入应该不会太大，而且排名第六到第十的分数基本相同

NEW YORK – In its April 5 2019 edition, Newsweek magazine ranked the best hospitals in 11 industrialized countries around the world. For Canada, it ranked 85 hospitals, giving each a score. At the top is the University Health Network, followed by North York General Hospital in Toronto, and Rockyview General Hospital (pictured) in Calgary.

Newsweek and its survey partners used three data sources to make their rankings: recommendations from medical experts (doctors, hospital managers, healthcare professionals); results from patient surveys; and medical key performance indicators (KPIs).
They excluded hospital chains and those with fewer than 100 beds.
The 11 countries surveyed are: the USA, Canada, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Switzerland, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Australia and Israel. The countries were mainly selected based on standard of living/life expectancy, population size, number of hospitals and data availability.
The number of hospitals ranked in each country varies based on the number of hospitals and data availability in the respective country. USA had the most hospitals awarded with 250, while Israel and Singapore were represented with 10 hospitals each.

但是就天气这一项死穴就让你望而却步，足见杀伤力多强，把所有让人欣喜难忘的一抹而去。

其实我在卡尔加里住了12年，国内的时候也是在东北长大的。如果年轻，还有奋斗空间，气候还不是最主要的问题。但是如果到了快退休的年纪，还生活在气候太多变的地方，大概对身体不是最好的选择。所以，我觉得退休还是在暖和一些的地方更好。

It is so sad to see that. Actually, my life in BC is not better than in Calgary except for the weather.
We just don't have choice. If economy is still booming in AB, I may not move to BC now.
So did many of Alberta residents who are moving to BC.
I really understand the pain from them. I has never missed a city like Calgary which I moved out before.

卡尔加里还是卡尔加里，温哥华岛也还是温哥华岛。
功能不一样，老人退休把阿省house卖掉，在温哥华岛买个社区公寓养老。
所以，温哥华岛上的阿省居民既不比以前多也不比以前少。
卡大这些年的预算一直稳中有升，其实卡城大部分行业一贯如此的过日子，保守派地区的优势之一，就是小日子是自己的小日子，年复一年。

温哥华的气候也不能算很宜居，只能说别的地儿我完全接受不能。
来加拿大之前觉得冷点无所谓，两个冬天一过被冻傻了。来了这边阈值被降低了很多，0度左右已经是春天了，这个图很形象。

这要向日本借鉴，那都是抗震的house，有几种技术，house能上下左右平移几毫米。就不会倒了。在日本那会儿，发罐头面包，水，防震的。

温哥华岛上的Nanaimo的房价夏天之后，疫情之下仍有新的涨幅。
大概是这里的疫情一直很轻，整个温哥华岛现在才有不到200例病例，气候又是这么好，房价一直算是比较低的。上周，来自深圳的亿万富翁刘伟宏以2亿加币买下了Nanaimo最大的购物中心。以后会向以前的深圳市怡景中心城 甚至进行扩建吧？这里的中国投资移民真是挺多了。
