Western K9 Security is a well established security company and we have an opening for a K9 patrol handler for our high-profile locations in the Greater Vancouver area.
• Starting as part-time, but can increase to full-time
• Be able to attend training in Maple Ridge (weekdays only)
• Provide K9 security patrol at various locations mostly in Vancouver area (evening/graveyard shifts)
• Willing to also work occasional static guard shift (without dog)
• Possess a current security license for Security Guard
• Experience working with dogs an asset
• Must be able to understand and be understood when speaking and writing English
• Must be able to house and transport canine (will be provided with supplies and allowance) or to pick up your canine in Maple Ridge before each shift
• Must have access to a vehicle to transport dog
• Be able to attend training in Maple Ridge (weekdays only)

Clients come to us because we provide a day of fun, playful socialization and at the end of the day they get to take home a very happy and tired dog. To accomplish this, we have well- trained, energetic, responsible and caring staff who of course love dogs! If you have these qualities and would like to be part of our team, please forward your cover letter and resume. We are looking to fill two part time positions for our daycare and outdoor dog walking service, with shifts scheduled Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7am and 6:30pm. You must have your full drivers license and be willing to submit to an RCMP background check.
