The Purchasing Department is seeking an individual to assist with providing support to the purchasing process and assigned department staff with specific responsibility for processing bid and purchasing documents and responding to related inquiries. Some of the duties include maintaining purchasing documents, files and records (e.g. Requests for Proposal, vendor files, etc.), responding to customer enquiries/requests, maintaining websites, overseeing the administration of the Pcard program and other related departmental applications, reviewing budgets, and playing a key role in the review of operational processes for continuous process improvements.

This position requires High School graduation including and/or supplemented by related training and/or considerable related experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, communication and documentation skills; the ability to multi-task, is self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The ability to efficiently utilize related software is required (i.e. MS Office); advanced spreadsheet skills (i.e. MS Excel) is a requirement. Strong attention to detail is needed along with strong analytical skills.

Experience working within an SAP environment is preferred.
