口音在英语口语中，应该是最后一个要纠正的。在英语口语没有连贯性顺畅性之前，谈口音都是避重就轻，或主次不分。也就是说，在口头英语还说不利落呢，口音问题无从谈起。再就是说，口头表达不磕磕碰碰了，口音稍加留意，改变起来应该是顺应自然，水到渠成的。

有的人英语读写都还可以，说话也很流畅，但是口音重到连简单的西人姓名发音都读错

At the beginning I am very worried about my English and do not know if I can teach courses in English. But later, I finished one course in one semester even some students said I had language barrier. I think I can stand on that stage to teach in English, which is the fact that I am successful.

很多欧洲／拉美过来的移民英语口音也有问题，但丝毫不影响他们跟当地人打成一片，主要就是文化相近。

别提了，我刚来加拿大时，就是这么回答人家的。现在想想，当时真的土的掉渣，让本地人笑话死了。
我现在的英语，至少能听出美式英语还是英式英语。我每天背十个单词，坚持了一年，才记住一千多个。这记忆力怎么地也是不行了。
如果你看到哪个华女口音非常纯正，而她又是移一代的话，肯定是交过老外男朋友的。

我可以肯定地告诉你靠交老外男朋友是不可能去掉口音的，只能使语言更流利。

我的个性从来不喜欢随大家恭维。肯定人家的英文在进步，不过的确后面的都看不懂。

不好意思，我的手机不能打中文，有时候看到感兴趣的话题，又没有电脑用，就直接用手机敲英文了。
英文是我们第一代移民永远需要学习的，但是大部分工作一般的英文就可以胜任，完全没有必要担心口音什么的。所以大胆的讲，多听多说，这个过程很长，但是慢慢的就会越来越好了。
印巴人有口音，菲力宾人有口音，韩国人有口音，他们都可以去公立college代课，我作为华人也有口音，我也敢去公立college代课。可能一开始结果不会太理想，至少我有勇气从新在加拿大又站在了讲台上，这就是成功了。
