我不爱看中文书的一个原因就是文章作者大都习惯了比较夸张的修辞手法,感情色彩多,真实信息少。这首词就体现了这个风格。
习惯了英文的简朴直接,不整那么多虚词。

就这首《卜算子·咏梅》,我试着来段化简为繁的啰七八嗦版译文:
Standing alone by the posthouse,

Regardless of the envy from other flowers,
she has no intention to welcome Spring by her alone.
Turned into mud ultimately,
notwithstanding,

其实最后的这个eternally应该译成as before, 如果忠于原文的话,但为了和ultimately小小呼应一番,把“香如故”译成了“香永驻”哈哈!表拍我砖~~~
